Father Trucker

Our Story

Power Serve Ministries was founded by Rev. Darren Milley, a retired Navy Lieutenant Chaplain, who recognized the unique spiritual challenges faced by long-haul truckers. With a heart for those who spend their lives on the road, Father Trucker was born as a ministry dedicated to reaching and teaching truckers to become fully committed, connected, and equipped disciples of Jesus Christ.

Drawing inspiration from Luke 14:23, "And the master said to the servant, 'Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled,'" Power Serve Ministries seeks to meet truckers where they are—on the highways and byways across North America.

Our Mission

To engage with truckers right where they are so that many would become fully committed, connected, and equipped disciples of Jesus Christ for the Glory of God and that they might become fully alive.

Our Values

The local church is the hope of the world and cannot be replaced by any parachurch ministry. The goal of Power Serve is to create tools that can ultimately lead truckers to connect in meaningful ways with the body of Christ and particularly with a local church.

We believe that truckers face unique challenges in their faith journey:

• Long hours on the road away from family and church community
• Difficulty attending regular church services due to work schedules
• Limited access to Christian fellowship and discipleship
• Challenges in maintaining spiritual disciplines while traveling

Through Father Trucker, we aim to bridge these gaps by providing resources, community, and support specifically designed for the trucking lifestyle.

• Thousands of truckers living as mature and equipped disciples of Christ
• A vibrant community of Christian truckers supporting one another in faith
• A network of volunteer chaplains equipped to mentor and coach Christian truckers
• Resources that help truckers overcome the unique challenges of discipleship on the road
• Churches ready to incorporate truckers and their families in meaningful ways
